  • Organisational Restructuring Completed – OKG Hiring Again

    After four years of intensive work, necessary changes to the activities and the organisation have been completed and OKG will during the coming winter require additional personnel, about twenty new employees. The company is thus striving towards securing the society’s need for fossil free electricity deliveries, while the organisation at the same time safely and efficiently concludes the life cycle of the production units that have been permanently shut down.

  • Time for the Annual Outage at unit Oskarshamn 3

    After an operating season with record high deliveries, it is now time for the annual outage to take place at unit Oskarshamn 3 (O3). This involves 24 intense days with focus on safety and stability, in order to ensure stable electricity deliveries until the outage in 2020.

  • Organisational Restructuring Completes the Adaptation of the Activities at OKG

    Once the scheduled restructuring of the OKG organisation is implemented on 1 October this year, there will be a redundancy in the organisation. The company and the white-collar unions have come to an agreement stating that the redundancy for the most part will be handled through voluntary agreements on termination of employment. In the long term, the organisation at OKG will consist of approximately 570 employees tasked with delivering climate efficient electricity from unit O3 in a safe and efficient manner, while at the same time the decommissioning and dismantling of units O1 and O2 will be completed.

  • Notice of termination and new recruitment when OKG mobilize for the future

    In a final adaption of the OKG organization to the changed preconditions, which were decided in 2015, it is clear that there is a need for both new recruitment as well as notice of termination of some thirty posts.
