Drug test

Everyone working at OKG must be drug tested from the first day of work. The test is carried out by the occupational health service or at another health care facility, and the analysis must take place in an accredited laboratory. The drug test must include tests for cannabis, cocaine, heroin/morphine, amphetamines, tramadol and benzodiazepines and this must be stated on the certificate.

A certificate of approved drug test is provided by the health care facility and sent to OKG before arrival. The approved certificate must not be older than four months when it is submitted to OKG.

For a certificate to be valid, it must contain the following information:

Personal data - name, and social security number
Date of sampling
Date and signature of authorized issuer
Which substances are tested

The response time to drug tests is longer than to the radiological medical examination. Drug tests must therefore be carried out well in advance of notification to OKG. The contractor is responsible for all costs for the drug test. A drug test is not required for official visits.

Repeat requirement
The drug test must be performed at three-year intervals.
