Radiation Protection in Practice
Compulsory training for all personnel who have access to the controlled area, in accordance with SSM FS 2008:26 6§. This training provides you with the required competence in order to be able to work in a safe and secure manner with respect to radiation protection, within the controlled area. Completed course is valid in three years.
Radiation Protection in Practice – Basic Training
This training is conducted on site at OKG, at the training facility (UBH), number 15 on the map, and consists of a full day of training. Since the number of available seats for the training is limited to 10 participants per course, you must register for the training in advance. The training is available in Swedish and English.
Should an interpreter be required in order for participants to be able to benefit from the training, the contractor concerned is responsible for such an arrangement and provides information about this when reserving the seat for the training. Please observe that this training follows the regular schedule, also when an interpreter is present.
Radiation in Practice – Re-training
The re-training course includes the two following parts
An instructor-led workshop (practical training), comprising 2.5 hours.
Conducted on site at OKG, at the training facility (UBH), number 15 on the map. Booking via e-mail or telephone +46 76-115 40 55 or +46 76-115 43 71.
Since the number of available seats for this training course is limited to 10 participants per course, you must register for the training in advance.
A web-based course (theoretical training).
Conducted in the nuclear power plants' training portal and must be completed prior to the instructor-led workshops.
Both the above parts of the training are required in order to receive a certificate of approval for the training.
The re-training course is only available in Swedish. In the event re-training in English is required, basic training is completed.
