Safety and security training
This is a web-based training course conducted in the Nuclear Power Plants training portal. Completed training is valid for three years.
The training contains important information about the work environment, alarms and emergency preparedness, and physical protection, among other things, and must be completed by everyone who will have access to the area. The training consists of course modules, plant-specific information for each plant and a final test and takes about 90 minutes to complete. Available in Swedish and English.
This training must be completed well in advance of arrival at OKG. After completing the training, a certificate must be e-mailed to the Central Guard's reception and, together with a drug test, register check and pre-registration, is the basis for gaining access/pass.
**NOTE:**A valid protection and security training is a prerequisite for entering through the security checks at OKG. Each access card is linked to the date when the employee last completed the Safety and Security training, and in cases where the date is older than 3 years, or if registration of approved training is completely missing, the card will be blocked for access.
To minimize disruption, we ask you to check the validity of your Safety and Security training and, if necessary, to repeat the training in the Training Portal.
