Information about register checks
The register check is part of OKG AB's efforts to employ reliable and loyal staff, but is also a regulatory requirement.
The register check allows OKG AB to apply to the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority SSM for a register check to be made on you in accordance with the Security Protection Act SFS 2021: 952.
When applying in security class 2, in addition to the consent in point 1 above, the form "Special personal investigation for security class 1 and 2" must also be sent. NOTE! The form must be sent in original to OKG, see address above. The consent can be sent by e-mail, but then inform in the e-mail letter that the form "Special personal investigation for security class 1 and 2" is sent by regular mail, or send both documents at the same time by regular mail.
Form - Special personal investigation for security classes 1 and 2 The register check is carried out by SÄPO and mainly includes information from the Swedish Criminal Records Bureau (Act 1998:620), the Swedish Register of Suspicious Activity (Act 1998:621) or the Police Data Act (Act 1998:622).
Instructions for security clearance The law, ordinance and regulation emphasize the responsibility of those who procure services or goods to ensure the reliability of the supplier through security clearance.
Security clearance must be continuously monitored during the employment period. Managers, in addition to supporting their staff, should have a good knowledge of their staff and get an idea of their suitability. A good opportunity for this is performance appraisals held with employees. This should be done by the contractor conducting a security clearance of its own staff and reporting this on the summary certificate.
The security clearance shall demonstrate:
that personal knowledge is based on information contained in diplomas, certificates, etc. and on references
that the information obtained during the interview, including family circumstances, education, previous activities, finances, secondary occupations, contacts, interests, drugs, criminal charges and convictions and personal characteristics form the basis for the personal knowledge.
